New Customers: Sacramento Trailer Repair Discount

We know downtime costs you money.

I'm Michael Washabaugh. My wife Bethany and I built Sacramento Trailer Store to solve a specific, frustrating problem for equipment owners in Sacramento.

I spent years as the mechanic and parts manager at one of the highest-volume trailer centers in Texas. I saw exactly where the industry bottlenecks are. Commercial guys—landscapers, hotshotters, and contractors—were being forced to wait weeks behind 40-foot RVs just to get basic axle work or wiring fixed. The system was broken.

We do things differently here. We stripped away the dealership fluff. We don't touch RVs, living quarters, trailers under 3,500 lb GVWR, or trailers over 14,000 lb GVWR. We focus entirely on 3,500–14,000 lb GVWR utility, boat, dump, landscape, equipment, and commercial trailers only. That focus allows us to offer precision diagnostics, heavy fabrication, and faster turnaround for working trailer owners in the Valley.

When you drop off your equipment, you aren't talking to a service writer who has never held a welding torch. You are dealing directly with the owner turning the wrench.

How We Operate

No guesswork. No upselling. Just correct engineering.

1. Accurate Diagnostics

We don't throw parts at a problem and hope it clears the fault. Whether it's a dead short in a 7-way harness or uneven tire wear indicating a bent spindle, we isolate the root failure point and give you a definitive answer.

2. Heavy-Duty Solutions

If a component breaks under a working-trailer load, replacing it with the same cheap factory part guarantees it will break again. We specialize in custom reinforcements, heavy-duty gate modifications, and upgraded suspension tracking for 3,500–14,000 lb trailers.

3. Transparent Communication

You will always know exactly what the repair entails, what the parts cost, and what the labor rate is before we cut or weld anything. We lay out the tradeoffs clearly so you can make the right call for your business.
